Kikthawenund Chapter, NSDAR, charter<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

On January 30, 1909, the organizing regent, along with the help of a chapter member, met in the organizing regent’s home and began the arduous task of forming a new chapter in the Anderson, Madison County, Indiana, area.<\/span><\/p>\n

Together they assisted an additional twenty-five women, who became members of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and charter members of the Kikthawenund Chapter, NSDAR.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Kikthawenund Chapter, NSDAR, was chartered on May 6, 1910.<\/span><\/p>\n

The charter resides in the Indiana Room of the Anderson Public Library, Anderson, Indiana.<\/span><\/p>\n
